Hello everyone,
I am in a hard situation, and that's why I am asking you for help.
Recently I purchased a used MacBook Air from the first generation (a1237) with a damaged hard drive. I also ordered a hard drive(used but i good working condition). As the hard drive arrived I installed it and it turns out that this hard drive was in a vaio laptop previously(and even still has windows on it), hence no mac os utilities(no recovery hd). Therefore I am unable to install mac os my question is what can I do in that situation. I' d like to add that the other hard drive has Recovery hd partition and it can boot into it, however I don't know how to transfer it from the old one to the new one, I assume it would be possible to use zif to ide (sata) adapter and plug the drives to a regular pc and transfer the data over from one to another, but I'm not sure. I'll appreciate any suggestion.
Thank you in advance.
